In A Nutshell

Winter break is coming to a close, what a memorable winter break it has been. I went out a lot, I'm finally taking advantage of having a car. Yesterday, I went roller skating for the first time, quite a challenge. My friend helped me all the way through and I even made him fall, but yet I was not a hopeless case, as I was making progress. There was this old man roller skating, very nice person too, his advice was much more easier to comprehend than my friend's, "lift up your feet and walk."

Anyways, I'm excited to go back to the uni, now I have stuff to do, focus on, and more nightly exploration. I am still thinking of last minute schedule changes, however my schedule is extremely flexible and I have a lot of time, more studying!! Every time I write, I am always aware of my grammar and mechanics, English class has turned me very critical of my writing.

Everyone's talking about New Year's resolution and it still hasn't hit me that it's 2012. I guess when I start writing the date on papers it will. Reflecting back on 2011, I think I've done a lot of growing, I know my flaws and habits and I'm still working on improving them. I have never been happier and I feel more spirited. I hope I've grown more personable and sociable. I speak my mind more and I'm determined on finding my independence and patience.

I plan on taking a journal with me and start writing, drawing, and any ideas onto paper. I haven't done artsy things in awhile and I miss it. I also plan on at least reading a page or two a day in Stephen Hawking's "The Universe in a Nutshell." Why did I chose this book? I've had this book and I've always wanted to read it and the subject interests me and plus it's Stephen Hawking (our generation of Isaac Newton!). NERD. c:
